USING EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT THIS CANON, this is a meeting about Operation Kidnap Fon Master Ion Back, so there will be some discussion about the Fon Master's disappearance and that it's imperative he be found...on Malkuth soil. Because conspiracy reasons.
...Also for the record, due to my personal take on canon: God General is not an official rank as each God General has their own military and religious rank. It's more an unofficial name to those that serve directly under the Commandant and are essentially his task force; but it is treated like it is an official rank. A DIFFERENCE THAT ULTIMATELY MEANS NOTHING IN AMNESIA LAND but! I have strong feels about this difference!
What Van learns
What this means
This memory is one of those "so small, it's nothing but registry fluff" but it actually will have some good use! It has all the God Generals in one place and Van was clearly acting as their leader. In Aather, Van has been seriously lacking in leadership memories and it's always been kind of laughable when he gets a memory that mentions his rank and purpose, since it's usually in a context that's either irrelevant to being a military leader, a context where being a Commandant means just being subservient to the Fon Master and the Score, or a context where he's either ordering subordinates to toss children in a volcano or recruiting would-be assassins to his insane cause (after he killed their brother, of course). None of these memories actually do Van any good in feeling as though he is someone with experience and worthwhile ideas, and thus he's taken this sort of "No-one will listen to me, why waste my breath" approach to matters in Aather and it's resulted in him going along with things he disagrees with, or trying to slide his ideas and accomplishments over to someone else who he feels would actually be acknowledged instead of owning those ideas himself.
Hopefully with a neutral-ish memory of giving orders and commands and explaining their purpose will help on this front. He's prone to resisting things when it comes from Aather, but having a memory to push things along can't hurt. People knew he was insane and wanted to end the world and still chose to respect him for it. There must be some reason for it!
...Also, he now knows the face and names of all the God Generals under his direct command. It's been bothering him on a low level that he remembers a man sacrificing himself to protect Van and his ideals while not even knowing this man's name, so knowing that Largo is indeed a person that respects him should help with that.

Legretta: Here you are, Asch, Arietta.
Asch: Yeah.
Arietta: Sorry I'm late.
Largo: Since we are all gathered today, that must mean we will start soon.
Legretta: Yes.
Dist: I am perfectly ready!
Sync: I'm ready when you want. It's getting exciting. I can't wait to see the panic we'll cause.
Arietta: I will do my best... too... for the Commandant.
Van: It is too late to turn back. I trust you understand.
Legretta: I do, Commandant.
Asch: This isn't new.
Van: Well then... Begin the operation!

What Van learns
♪ So those memories about being a military leader actually did have meaning. How unexpected.
♪ And I have my own task force with their own names. Good to know.
♪ Unsurprisingly, Sync grew up to be a bit of a fucker. Because Van is the best at raising children.
